Some Reviews of Keynes’ General Theory

A number of book reviews of Keynes’ General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money (1936), both sympathetic and critical, appeared quickly, and are still of some interest.

Amongst them are these:

Pigou’s (1936) review was very critical, but most of the others were positive.

Kalecki’s (1936) review appeared in Polish, but is now available in an English translation in Targetti and Kinda-Hass (1982).
